Polaroid were formed in 2017 by Stephen Keogh, Dan Gillick and Sean Keogh.
In October 2016, Keogh, Gillick and Keogh began writing new material. Within a few months a new sound had been devised by the group and the name Polaroid was chosen as the trio felt that it reflected their sound well. Polaroid work to create music that, while having an easy listen pop sensibility, is unusual and unique.
